Un Camino de Enseñanza is an initiative promoted by Trucker Woman

A few weeks ago, Andamur and our WOW initiative, Women on the Way, supported the project ‘Un Camino de Enseñanza,’ led by Trucker Woman.
This initiative aims to introduce the world of trucking and transportation in classrooms with two main goals: to present it as a potential career option for young people and to increase the visibility of women in the industry.

In this project, this group of professional female truck drivers visited schools and institutes across various parts of Spain:

  • CEIP María Jover – Iniesta (Cuenca)
  • IES El Saler – El Saler (Valencia)
  • CEIP Velázquez – Móstoles (Madrid)
  • IES Salinas – Salinas (Asturias)
  • CEIP Fernando el Católico – Quinto (Zaragoza)

The talks aimed to showcase the daily lives of female truck drivers to students aged 11 to 17.

Andamur and WOW extend our thanks to the organizers, Trucker Woman, and to the educational centers that hosted them, as initiatives like this contribute to a more gender-inclusive future in the transportation sector.
