Andamur promotes its actions for Driver Care, with initiatives that encourage sports and a healthy diet during their routes
At Andamur, we have been taking care of every driver who embarks on their journey with us for over 35 years. We understand that there are a series of essential aspects that help them maintain their health and well-being as drivers, enabling them to face the challenges of their profession and thus improve their quality of life.
That’s why facilitating their access to sports, promoting a healthy lifestyle, improving ergonomics behind the wheel, and encouraging rest or enjoyment during breaks on their long routes has become an essential focus of our work. This October, we are launching a series of initiatives under our campaign Take Care of Your Health on the Road.
October is packed with activities for drivers at Andamur Service Areas
Human foosball at Andamur La Junquera and Andamur San Román
We have organized a human foosball activity with direct prizes, surprises, and a raffle for 10 sports kits for all drivers who participate. The event will take place at Andamur La Junquera on Saturday, October 5, and at Andamur San Román on Saturday, October 12. This initiative is designed to ensure that drivers enjoy a day of fun and sports at our facilities.
Healthy Corners
October 16 marks International Healthy Eating Day, and to celebrate, we are setting up fruit corners in all our Service Areas. At these corners, our customers can enjoy free fruit, promoting a healthier diet and encouraging the inclusion of fruit in their daily routine.
Collaboration with influencers/content creators from the trucking world
Throughout October, we will be sharing in-cab workout routines for drivers to follow during breaks, guided by Entrena y Conduce. We will also showcase our sports facilities with Laur Garage.
Andamur Sports Facilities Network
At Andamur, we have a network of sports facilities to promote and make it easier for drivers to exercise during their breaks, including:
Andamur La Junquera Gym
Opened in December 2018, this was the first of our sports facilities. It is equipped with 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical machines, 2 stationary bikes, an abs bench, a seated chest press machine, a quadriceps extension machine, and a lying leg curl machine, as well as additional sports equipment.
Andamur San Román Gym
Opened in October 2023, this space is equipped with the necessary machines and equipment for strength training, cardio, and stretching. It includes a treadmill, 2 spinning bikes, TRX straps, a storage module, and weights.
Free Bicycle Service and Bicycle Parking at Andamur San Román
We have bicycle parking and a free bicycle service that allows our customers to explore the area around our station, exercising while enjoying the scenery and nature, helping them to relax and recharge before continuing their journey.
At Andamur, we are committed to continuously adding sports facilities to our Service Areas and organizing activities that enhance the well-being of truckers during their routes.
