At Andamur, we continue to move forward with determination in our commitment to sustainability. The past year has been full of achievements that encourage us to keep working towards a more human and responsible transport sector.
We have presented our fifth Sustainability Report, consolidated carbon neutrality for the third consecutive year, promoted gender equality in the transport sector, taken better care than ever of our drivers, and received the Truck Friendly Award for our best practices towards both transport and the people who make it possible.
A report that reflects our true commitment
Our 2024 Sustainability Report highlights the progress achieved within our plan, “We Care About What Matters,” which revolves around six key pillars: people, drivers, social commitment, environment, corporate governance, and equality.
Among the most notable initiatives is WOW – Women on the Way, a project designed to make women more visible in the transport sector and to attract female talent to a traditionally male-dominated industry. In 2024, we celebrated the first edition of the WOW Awards, recognizing the achievements of inspiring women in the fields of road transport, business, and innovation.
We also strengthened our infrastructure network with the opening of Andamur San Román II (Álava) —a new service area that triples the region’s supply capacity and reaffirms our commitment to efficiency, safety, and driver well-being.
Caring for drivers, our top priority
For more than 35 years, Andamur has been driven by a clear purpose: to take care of every driver who trusts us. Aware of the challenges they face every day, each October we carry out our “Take Care of Your Health on the Road” campaign —an initiative that promotes healthy habits, physical activity, balanced nutrition, and proper rest during their journeys.
This year, the activity “Your Kilometres Count” was a great success. At our Pamplona and Guarromán service areas, drivers took part using our “bike blenders” to prepare healthy smoothies —turning their effort into solidarity: 1,800 kilograms of food donated to the Food Banks of Navarra and Jaén.
To mark the International Day of Healthy Eating, we also set up free fruit corners across all our service areas to encourage balanced diets on the road.
In addition, we continue expanding our network of sports facilities, including free gyms in La Junquera and San Román, and a bicycle service that allows drivers to enjoy outdoor routes and nature during their breaks.
Sustainability that starts from within
One of the projects we are most passionate about is our solidarity challenge “You Decide”, where our employees choose the social organizations that will benefit from our donations. This year, we contributed €15,000 to five associations that do extraordinary work: Valórate Más, Multiple Sclerosis Lorca Association, D’Genes, ELA Región de Murcia, and Animal Rescue Foundation. At Andamur, we believe that sustainability is built from within and multiplied outward.
A recognition that drives us forward
All this work has been recognized with the 2025 Truck Friendly Award in the Organization category, for our responsible practices towards drivers and freight transport. Our colleague Ángeles Ruiz, Director of Marketing, Customer Service, and CSR, proudly accepted this award on behalf of the entire team.
Receiving this recognition fills us with pride and motivates us to keep moving forward with the same purpose: to care for people, the environment, and the transport that keeps the world moving.
At Andamur, we look to the future with enthusiasm and with a firm commitment to continue caring for what truly matters.
