Andamur takes part in Women’s Fleet to promote the role of women in transport

Andamur took part in Women’s Fleet, one of the most important events in the transport and automotive sector dedicated to highlighting and strengthening female talent within an industry that has traditionally been male-dominated.

The event brought together professionals, executives and experts from the sector with the aim of sharing experiences, analysing current challenges and promoting initiatives that contribute to greater equality of opportunity in transport.

During the event, our colleague Magdalena Galazka participated in a roundtable focused on the role of women in the sector, where key issues for the present and future of the industry were discussed.

Among the topics addressed during the debate were:

• The challenges faced by women in a historically male-dominated industry.
• Existing barriers to professional development and access to leadership positions.
• The role of companies in promoting equality and fostering female talent.
• The need to improve working conditions, infrastructure and safety for professional women drivers.

Participation in this event made it possible to exchange experiences with other companies and professionals in the sector, while also creating a space for dialogue and collaboration to move towards a more inclusive industry.

Commitment to equality in the transport sector

Andamur’s presence at this event is part of its commitment to the WOW Women On The Way initiative, a project that promotes the visibility, recognition and professional development of women in the transport sector.

Through WOW, Andamur promotes initiatives that aim to give a voice to women already working in the industry, inspire new generations and help remove barriers in a sector where diversity is key to its evolution.

Taking part in Women’s Fleet has been another opportunity to reaffirm this commitment and continue working so that more and more women can find their place in the transport sector.
