Andamur reaffirms its commitment to safety by certifying its car parks to the highest European standards

At Andamur, safety has always been a priority. In line with our aim of offering integral security for the transporter, we are taking another step forward in our commitment by becoming a benchmark in the sector with the certification of our service areas as safe and secure parking areas.

Currently, our Andamur Guarromán and Andamur La Junquera service areas have been certified in the gold category of the European SSTPA (Safe and Secure Truck Parking Areas) standard. This recognition, based on European Commission Regulation 2022/1012 and backed by ESPORG (The European Safe & Secure Parking Organisation), endorses the quality and level of protection we offer our transport customers.

With these certifications, Andamur joins the exclusive group of gold category car parks in Spain, where there are currently only six certified spaces. The incorporation of our car parks means adding three new locations to this select list, positioning us as a major player in professional transport security.

In addition, at the end of 2024 we completed work on the new security car park at Andamur San Román II, a space that raises our security standards even higher. This car park has also obtained the SSTPA gold certification, but also meets the requirements of the PSR (Parking Security Requirements) standard defined by TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association), with level 2 certification.

By achieving both certifications, Andamur San Román II becomes one of the first service areas in Europe to obtain this double accreditation, which reinforces our leadership in secure solutions for international transport.

This major milestone reflects our commitment to ensuring the safety of people, vehicles and goods, and consolidates our position as a pioneer in providing safe and reliable spaces for professional transport in Europe.
