Gently fry in a good splash of olive oil. When golden, add the stale bread and brown it. Add the chopped ham, lightly fry and lower the heat.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.andamur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Captura-de-pantalla-2022-10-27-a-las-20.30.03.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"174\" height=\"256\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Add the stock:<\/h2>\n<p>Add the De La Vera paprika, stir a few times, then quickly add the stock or water \u2013 take too long and the paprika will burn and become bitter. Add the asparagus previously saut\u00e9ed in a frying pan. When it boils, lower the heat and cook for 10-15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.andamur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Captura-de-pantalla-2022-10-27-a-las-20.30.07.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"142\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Final steps:<\/h2>\n<p>Just before serving, turn off the heat and add the egg, which will cook with the residual heat. Garnish with the chopped parsley, season to taste.
